Hedwig

This is a story about my stuffy Hedwig (if you did not read the Hello part of my blog, he is cool).  I got him for Christmas.  He is one of my favorite stuffies.  I sleep with him every single night.  He is a snowy owl.

Snowy owls live in the tundra and the arctic.  They are white with black spots because if you notice if there is snow at your house, there are little black parts so they blend in.  Females are mostly pure white.  Males are almost pure white with black spots.  They mostly eat lemmings.  I really want to see one.  One of my favorite places in Vermont is VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science) because I get to see all different kinds of birds.  I asked my mom to link to their website in case you haven't been there.
