One day a boy named Luke was reading a book about an adventure. It was called The Great Adventures and Luke was in his bedroom reading it. Suddenly, he got sucked into the book! It felt like he was falling into a black hole.
He appeared on a gorilla that was ten feet tall! Luke knew how to defeat it. He had to throw a rock at the gorilla's head and that would knock him out. But first he had to get off of him. He remembered in the book that there is a portal that would get him off, so he jumped into the gorilla's mouth. The portal was inside his mouth! He ended up falling out of a tree across from the gorilla. Then the gorilla ran across to him and then smacked his head on a rock! Luke ran away from the gorilla while the gorilla was knocked out.
After the gorilla, Luke remembered that there was a sword-fighter named Inigo Montoya who was fighting someone named Wesley in the book. So he had to sneak past both of them while they were fighting. There was another portal and this time he had to move a rock to find it. He took off a patch of dirt and then he jumped inside of the hole. He came out on the other side of the sword fighters, and then he sneaked away.
There was one more challenge--to climb Mount Everest while there was a volcano erupting next to it!! Luke remembered that there was one more portal, but it would only get him halfway up. It would get him above the volcano. Then he would have to cross a bridge that was almost broken. Then the gorilla showed up! Luke jumped on his back and climbed across a vine that was covered in snow. Luke hopped in a huge portal and then he appeared back in his bed.
He said, "Was that a dream?" Then he looked at his clock and it was the same time that it was when he started reading the book. He realized he went back in time! He finally went to sleep and dreamed about all of his adventures.
